Daily Art Thang

I decided to put the DAT in a separate post today, since the main post is a sort of photo essay.
This rose, which is blooming along our driveway, makes me think of the song “Me Vida Loca.” Part of the chorus says “We’ll go where the wind blows, and I’ll be your wild rose, welcome to my crazy life.”

Wow, Deb, I was just thinking of that Pam Tillis album today - had “Cleopatra, Queen of Denial” earworming me since this morning.
Lovely wild rose! Isn’t it amazing that all the really fancy ones come back to something so simple?
Love the simplicity of that bloom!
This reminds me of the town I grew up in; we used to have these growing in our fence row.
REALLY enjoyed your me/not me post, thanks for all the time and effort, i can well imagine how long it took, so won’t be doing it, but enjoyed yours and relate to nearly all of them!
Great rose so delicate.
Glad y’all enjoyed the photo.
Caity, that’s a bit Twilight Zone-ish about the song, yes? Wow!
