| Night and Day 27" x 19" |

| This is a quilt I made a few years ago for an online challenge I organized called "Sense-Abilities". Each quilt was supposed to be about one or more of the five senses and was supposed to incorporate on new technique the artist hadn't tried before --- a new ability. This quilt, based on Faye Labanaris' "Quilts With A View" technique, is about the way a garden changes from day to night, but still appeals to the sense of sight, smell, and even touch at both times. This was the first time I ever used the technique of machine applique. $220 |
